Up the Highway 65 Corridor
Isanti County sits north of the metro along Highway 65, with the Rum River winding through it and Cambridge, the county seat, at its center. The cities of Isanti and Cambridge have grown into genuine commuter towns over the past couple of decades, adding subdivisions full of newer homes, while Braham holds down the north end of the county and the townships in between stay rural with hobby farms, older farmhouses, and outbuildings. The ground here is part of the story. The Anoka Sand Plain reaches up into Isanti County, so much of the area sits on sandy soil that drains fast and gives up fine material to moving water. That is a recipe for settled concrete: driveways, garage floors, stoops, and sidewalks poured over sandy fill develop voids underneath and drop out of grade, and each freeze-thaw season moves them a little more. On the insulation side, the county gives us the full range, from newer Cambridge homes with cold bonus rooms and code-minimum attics to older farm properties where the rim joist has never seen anything but bare wood. Isanti County is the longest run north we make from our Monticello shop, but the Highway 65 towns are established parts of our route, and we schedule work there regularly rather than treating it as an exception.
What We Do in Isanti County
Foam-Tek runs two divisions, and both cover Isanti County. The insulation crew sprays closed-cell and open-cell foam in attics, walls, rim joists, crawl spaces, garages, shops, and pole buildings. In the newer subdivisions around Cambridge and Isanti, attic air sealing and bonus-room work solve the comfort complaints that added fiberglass never fixes, and on the rural properties we foam outbuildings so they hold heat and stop condensation. The concrete crew levels settled slabs with polyurethane foam injected through small drilled holes, lifting driveways, garage floors, steps, patios, and sidewalks back to grade in a controlled, same-day process. Everything runs out of our Monticello shop, we have operated since May 2022, and we are licensed and insured under Minnesota license IR797260 with 51 Google reviews at a 5.0 rating.

How far north in Isanti County do you work?+
The Highway 65 corridor through Isanti, Cambridge, and up to Braham covers it. That is the northern edge of our service area, and we schedule jobs there as part of our normal rotation. If you are in a township between those towns, you are covered too.
Does Isanti County have the same sandy-soil settling problem as Anoka County?+
Largely, yes. The Anoka Sand Plain extends into Isanti County, and sandy ground lets water carry fine material out from under slabs while loose fill keeps consolidating. If your driveway or stoop has dropped, polyurethane leveling can fill the voids and lift the concrete back where it belongs.
